Cassette Retreat Magic
Take space to recharge your precious energy, and let your creativity flourish.
You are perfect as you are, and everything you make is delightful. There is no one like you, a unique treasure. The retreat is designed to simply bask in that fact—through a series of carefully curated and lovingly led activities! Some movement, some voice, some writing, some imagining…All designed draw us back into our innately sparkly selves.
Creative Program includes:
– Retreat Dance Project, including nurturing Cassette cool downs, fun warm-ups and flashmob in nature!
– Collage Journals, vision board crafternoon
– Singing Jam with special guest Pam Freeman from The Loveys!
– Creative Writing to stir the senses, down at the lake
– Morning Yoga classes (optional)
– Social connection and bonding magic
– Crafty fun. Bedazzling with Rachel, anyone?!
– Giggly talent night (read a poem, sing a song, share a fun fact, or just enjoy)
– NLP journey with Miranda
– Free time for rest, relaxation and strolling in a simple and serene environment
– Massage add-on available (we’ll definitely enjoy massage swaps regardless!)
Lovely to be held by the mountains as we do our art twinkling and giggling
More detail on the Retreat Dance Project:
I’m super excited to teach you a brand new choreography, to a surprise song. The piece expresses the pure joy and carefree spirit inside us, and all the other feelings too.
We only have this one life, and there’s something about dance (especially to a rousing track, in a gorgeous place, with lovely people) that brings all our best parts out.
We’ll gradually learn the routine (as well as enjoy many other delightful Cassette 80s warm-ups. I’m loving Margaret Urlich’s Escaping atm!). The retreat will culminate with a casual outdoor performance, filmed with the mountains as our backdrop. Wearing colour-themed easy-to-gather costumes of course!

The magic and beauty of creative connection.

Meals included:
– Bottomless herbal and tea and plunger coffee, choice of milks
Even She-Ra needs her dreamy time
Why join The Cassettes’ Retreat?
- Taking in the beauty of the lake at sunset with a journal and pen in hand, surrounded by magic infused ladies is a kind of heaven.
-
I’ve never regretted giving myself the gift of time, creativity and fun. Every time I do, I come away brighter, happier, more skilled-up in interesting ways, and somehow simpler. More me! A grin on my face.
-
It’s rather nice to be cooked for and taken care of for two whole nights, with decisions being made for you. Let me pamper you!
- It’s a chance to revel in your creative spirit, enjoy a wee holiday, and have the best time ever.
- You may not realise, but every time you have fun and feel more confident, society benefits. Art and 80s dance is powerful stuff!
- Feel more energised, sparkly and inspired
- A dash of tone and fitness, bone density, balance and grace
- Being guided and cared for by a dedicated teacher
